What does "Flash Not Supported" mean on the iPad?

is this a common iPad error?
Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The Apple iPad is not compatible with any versions of Adobe’s Flash software. Apple has intentionally designed the iPad so that it does not work with pages or widgets that are running Flash. Apple generally feels that Flash is not a stable product and that it causes more problems than it is worth, so they have not allowed the iPad or iPhone to work with that software. They have even now gone so far as to take not pre-install Flash on any of its Mac computers. Users will be able to download it for laptops or desktops, but for now it will not work on the iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch.

It means the page you are trying to view has "Flash" encoding on it and the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch can not read Flash. If you want to view this page, you will have to use a laptop or desktop computer or a mobile device not made by Mac.
