Hi hsia12210, I'm glad you've taken the time to start exploring Mahalo, a fun and engaging community revolving around real people, quality content, and a positive attitude! The positive attitude around here is really what sets Mahalo apart from the rest of the online crowd, and I look forward to you bringing a happy and productive outlook to the site!
By now you may have noticed that Mahalo is a very exciting and interesting environment, but it *can* be a little confusing sometimes. However, once you become familiar with the site, Mahalo is an exciting place to learn, participate and hang out. I've attached a couple links below that might help you better understand Mahalo and the several ways to make money and have fun using the site:

How Mahalo Tasks Work - A slightly more in-depth look at how to get paid writing pages and how-tos for Mahalo.
How Mahalo Answers Works - Mahalo.com/Answers is a fun community filled with real questions written by users just like you! This link helps explain how to get paid writing quality answers for Mahalo. (it's simple - get selected as the "best answer" for a certain question, and earn the 'tip' money for that thread!)
How Mahalo Dollars and Payments Work A quick description on how to earn and receive "Mahalo Dollars" - Mahalo's virtual currency that can be traded in for real US $ once you earn M$150!
As a way to get started, one Mahalo dollar will be deposited in your account after I review your "answer" to this "question" (okay, it's not really a question, but it's Mahalo's version of "email" so it'll have to do for now ;-) No answer is necessary, just say "thanks" or "nice to meet you" and you're good to go! It might take me a day or two to get to your message, but don't worry - I won't forget about you!

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.
