Bio: Richard Giles is the CEO of Scouta, a social audio and video recommendation service. Richard has been in the technology industry for over 15 years, and was an Australian web pioneer in the early-nineties designing corporate websites in 1994. He later worked for Sun Microsystems for nine years, and has since authored two books, won awards for podcasts, consulted, and spoken to a variety of organizations about the emerging Internet.<br /> <br /> Richard's achievements include winning the Best Australian Podcast of the Year 2006, authoring "Podcasting Pocket Guide," and "How To Use Flickr: The Digital Photography Revolution," and launching the Scouta web site and recommendation engine.<br /> <br /> Richard currently co-hosts the video podcast Scouta TV.
