I have 11 email accounts, 2 mobile numbers (one via carrier and one Google Voice) as well as regular communication through Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn as well as many other sites. I also use Skype and Google Chat on a regular basis.

I would say that if you're a casual computer user and aren't aware (or can't configure) the tools available than you can easily become overwhelmed. However, it's fairly easy to manage everything if you take advantage of today's technology.

It's definitely much better than coffee. It really doesn't have a crash that you might experience with Energy drinks or coffee. I highly recommend it.
