So far, the iPad specific apps are very good, with the Netflix app being my favorite of the third party apps. For the built-in apps, email is very good for both reading and responding to large amount of email I get. The speed of use is one of the best features, with response times instant with no hesitation.
I would be open to trying out your idea.

I have an iPad. In fact I am typing from it right now. So far I really like it. The screen is crisp and it does a lot of what I want it to do. I am planning on posting a review on my blog In a couple of days. Would love to participate in your project. Let me know.
