Are there any iPad reviews yet?

I prefer video reviews, I would like to see how the iPad is actually working.
Tip for best answer: M$0.50
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Yeah there are a whole bunch out in the internet ether. A reviewer at PC World (I have a link to the piece below) says that most of the negative reactions stem from the following missing elements:

Multitasking capacity
Adobe Flash, though it was said to be on the way
Camera and iChat device
HDMI port

He points to other issues as well:

A 4:3 aspect ratio
Remains reliant on the AT&T 3G
Its dependence on adapters

The tech bloggers, who are typically less than favorable toward new Apple products, slammed the iPad for the above issues, but the more influential reviewers were more positive. Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, Walter Mossberg, the New York Times' David Pogue all acknowledge the defects, but expressed optimism about the potential of the iPad. One of the questions was whether or not the keyboard would work for most people (it is extremely wide), as well as whether it would work as someone's principal computer, or if it was meant to be used in tandem with another Mac.

There's lots of good video reviews on the web. Below I have one that talks about the iPad as a competitor of the Kindle, and its compatibility with Youtube.

Andy Ihnatko reviewed his preview version last night on MacBreakWeekly on the TWiT network. It was good stuff!

That's a really useful link. It's also available on YouTube.com, and on iPad Reviews.
